More non-toxic stuff, but on a larger scale.

Building a house? Here is a good resource.

Safe couches from California!

How to find a safe couch.
And how do you find a carpet that does not have flame retardants? I found these at Ikea and they have the mandatory tag that says they are flammable. The bigger size did not have the tag, meaning they have to have flame retardants, since these are all cotton. (We never light candles, which are paraffin anyway and not good to breathe.) These are easy to throw in the washing machine and are pretty flat, so they store fewer toxic chemicals from appliances in the house…. or that have been tracked in from the street by our huge dog.
